The convergence of great stuff automotive, aeronautic, and agricultural that is the Pacific Coast Dream Machines show is a wrap until next year. Hanging out directly under the dulcet thrum and doppler effect of World War II piston engine airplanes was worth the price of admission alone. Also present at the Half Moon Bay were dune buggies, streamliners, and numerous examples of something called a hit and miss engine – which chuffed along according to a cycle that was definitely not otto. Stay tuned for more of a few things as seen though the Clunkbucket eye by-the-sea. For now please enjoy this visual roundup of just some of the dream machines.

How did I not see you there? Un-be-freaking-lievable show this year. Wow, just wow.

Now all it needs is the Subaru 360 “Fast Track” race car featured as the 04/22/09 Odd Rod up on a double trailer and it would be exquisite! Too bad I live in “fly over country” and miss all this “left coast stuff”. — Joe (still lusting after the Boss Pinto – even though my wife is threatening me with bodily harm!) GREAT SITE!!!

The Alfa Montreal is sweet. Maybe they will build retro ones when they start sending them here again. Looks like a great show too bad its on the other side of the country.
